If I knew 20 years ago how it was going to end, I would probably not have picked up a camera at all. However, since I had no idea what was going to happen, the innocent gesture of holding the mini camera became the beginning of a great adventure and a passion for life. It is hard to clearly determine its genesis, as from the earliest years I have been living in a magical place on the verge of the Augustów Primeval Forest and on the threshold of the Biebrza National Park. All that has happened in my life since then, was perhaps also a cold and wet prophecy of the Biebrza Marshes. My first photo shooting ended up with wallowing knee high in flooded meadows, and its output was a miserable photo of white and black storks, the causes of my spring bathing. From then on, countless times I poured marshy water out of my wellies, heated my bare feet in a warm peat, and soaked my clothes in wilderness dew. I have had my breakfast surrounded by elks, shared my lunch with mosquitoes, and at supper, I was accompanied by European bisons. Thus, in the magical Podlasie, my photographic adventure commenced and it continues until now. You are all very welcome to embark on it.
