Piotr Dziełakowski

Piotr Dziełakowski, cranes enthusiast; he has been photographing and documenting them for over 20 years. He is a photographer and environmental educator. His works have been exhibited in Poland and abroad. For over 20 years, he had been photographing and documenting the life of cranes from Włoszakowice marshes. Watching nature, birds and animals became an important part of his life. In 2017, he has installed a camera allowing internet users from around the world watching a broadcast from the crane nest. He is also a co-founder and producer of a documentary titled “50 cm życia” (50 cm of Life) that describes a history of marsh irrigation and the first in the world streaming from the crane nest in Włoszczakowice Forestry. He a volunteer in community service, cooperates with many institutions and ecological organisations. He lives in Wschowa with his wife and three sons. Piotr works in a utility company, where he is responsible for environmental education.
